Militants blow up Chevron's oil well in Warri

The men of the Niger Delta Avengers have struck again at one of Chevron's oil well hours after the Federal Government has decided to have a dialogue.

In one of the tweets, the militants wrote,  "At 1:00am today, the NDAvengers blow up Well RMP 20 belonging to Chevron located 20 meters away from Dibi flow Station in Warri North LGA."

In a recent tweet on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, the militants revealed their recent vandalisation in Warri while denying claims that it is in talk with the Federal Government.
The militants, who have continued to negatively impact on the production of crude oil in  Nigeria, also had a message for the Federal Government.
"This is to the Gen. public we're not negotiating with any Committee. if Fed Govt is discussing wth any group they're doing that on their own," the twitter handle tweeted.

The attack is coming despite pleas by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu and the Federal Government's decision to withdraw military troops in the Niger Delta community and open dialogue with the Niger Delta Avengers.
Niger Delta Avengers have been responsible for the vandalisation of several oil facilities situated in Warri, Delta and Bayelsa states since the commencement of what the group's spokesman, Mudock Agbinibo and coordinator, General Torunanawei, tagged emancipation of the people of Niger Delta.
