PRESIDENT BUHARI- ‘WHY I WAS REMOVED FROM OFFICE IN 1985’

President Buhari yesterday said the reason he was removed from office in 1985 was because he refused to take an advice from the IMF and the World Bank to devalue the Naira and increase prices of fuel and flour. He said this when he spoke at the Nigerian Army Guards Brigade Regimental Dinner.

“I refused and gave my reasons and the next thing I knew I was removed and detained for three and half years. As a civilian president I will do my best and I’m telling you all these because you are part of the leadership of this great country and God willing we will remain great”he said.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF 4G LTE NETWORK

Yes! 4G LTE is very fast but it also has disadvantages and it’s advantages. 4G LTE simply means fourth generation long term evolution, 4G LTE aims to offer users faster, more reliable mobile broadband internet for devices like smartphones, tablets and laptops. It’s speed is 10 times faster than 3G ( third revolution ) so if you are using it, you won’t encounter slow or poor internet speed.
Well, it has its advantages and disadvantages so let’s see them.

Advantages of 4G LTE network It is very fast and 10 times faster than 3G network. It has higher bandwidth. Extremely high voice quality. Very fast when downloading huge files and downloading files over a wireless network.

Very good and clear when streaming videos, watching online videos, playing online musics, watching online Tv and others streaming stuffs, is very clear and bright. Easily access Internet, IM, Social Networks, streaming media, video calling, etc It is stable when connected to the internet without any disruption. It doesn’t throttle.
Disadvantages of 4G LTE network It has higher data prices for consumers (expensive). Consumers are forced to buy a new device to support 4G LTE. It consumes alot of battery when in use. It consumes data very fast when in use.

Your battery becomes hot when in use for a very long time (like a microwave). It has different network bands for different phones and some are same especially in nigeria. Yea, I have successfully listed out the disadvantages and advantages of 4G LTE network but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go for it, it all depends on your choice and what you do best in the internet.

If you download alot and stream videos, I will advice you to go for 4G LTE but if you are just a chatting and browsing type, you can stay tuned to your 3G and 2G network. Is it helpful? What do you have to say about the advantages and disadvantages of 4G LTE network? Do you have any other advantages or disadvantages to add, kindly drop it below in the comment box.

Breaking: Sergey Mavrodi, Founder Of MMM Writes An Open Letter To Nigerian Journalists

Sergey Mavrodi, the founder of Mavrodi Mundial Movement (MMM) has written an open letter to Nigerian journalists whom he claimed are causing unnecessary tension in the country.

According to him, MMM will be back by January as earlier stated, hence the rumour about the scheme collapse should stop.
Mavrodi described articles from Nigerians journalists and bloggers as “provocative and worthless articles.”

Read Mavrodi’s letter below.
“Dear journalists, “analysts” and all kinds of “experts”!Please stop using MMM to gain cheap popularity. Leave us alone and let us work without interference. I’m just astonished by your irresponsibility and cynical attitude. Interests of millions of people, your fellow citizens are at stake. Don’t you have any sympathy for them? Why are you fueling hysteria around MMM and provoking a panic? Why are you doing this so diligently and persistently, what is your purpose?
“In fact, absolutely all your provocative and worthless articles and “analyses” (I said “worthless” because you do not have any real information about what happens in the System, and might have never had; you simply invent everything, fabricate it) are merely negative: “MMM has collapsed!!!.. MMM will not be working in January!!!..” etc. Are you intentionally presenting all of it in such a manner and whipping up tension by any means possible in order to increase the ratings of your publications and attract attention to them? Don’t you care about people at all?
“So, nothing has collapsed, and MMM will safely resume its work in January, as announced. Suspension of work for holidays is a usual thing, merely working moment, no more than that. It would have remained a normal, just a part of the usual routine, and might have gone almost unnoticed if it were not for your totally cynical and irresponsible attempts to advertise yourself, create a scandal out of nowhere, and make the most of this news topic in any possible way.
“Again, leave MMM alone and let us work. Nothing has collapsed, and MMM will perfectly resume its work in January. We Can Change the World!”

Colon Cancer on The Rise, But Preventable...See how!

No matter your age, don’t ignore problem signs, like blood in the stool or a change in your bowel output. In this report by Sade Oguntola, experts, say this could be the first sign of a colon cancer.

SEPTEMBER 27, 2015, is a day that is forever ingrained in the memory of relatives of Bamke Haruna. Months before, she had noticed symptoms such as constipation and bloody stool. She didn’t think much of them at first, but as they grew worse, she knew something was wrong.
At age 72, Bamke Haruna was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer after she was referred to a teaching hospital where a colonoscopy revealed a tumour in her large intestine or colon.
Colorectal cancer, a cancer affecting the colon and rectum, is the second most common cancer worldwide. In Nigeria, incidence of colon cancer unfortunately is on the rise.
“About 30 years ago, we saw about 12 to 15 cases per year at the University Teaching Hospital (UCH), Ibadan. But now we are seeing about 70 to 100 cases per year,” said Dr David Irabor, a colon cancer expert at the hospital.
The situation is not restricted to UCH, Ibadan. Other federal medical tertiary institutions are also recording an increase in the number of colon and rectal cancer cases.
Ironically, colon and rectal cancer thought to be a white man’s disease is having a foot hold in Africa. “Since, we are also now imbibing a lot of the vices and virtues of the white people, it stands to reason that we are also developing their diseases,” said Dr Irabor.
Colon cancer is one of those things that occur inside the large intestine, where end products of digestion and other things from the small intestine becomes solidified, and then gets passed out as stool.
The large intestine has a large capacity and many times when this colon cancer starts; it may not give any symptom. Howbeit, one of its earliest symptoms of colon cancer is bloody stool.
“No doubt, individuals that pass fresh blood in their stool will wonder what could have caused it. But it is overlooked oftentimes by many people in Nigeria because it is termed jedijedi,” Dr Irabor said.
“Some people also start to lose weight, but that occurs for all forms of cancer because cancer cells will compete with your normal cells for body nutrients.
“So, if you keeps seeing blood in the stool, not feeling too well, a packed cell volume (PCV) that is a bit low and within the 40 to 50 years age range, or with a change in the bowel output, what is happening in the large intestine needs to be checked.”
Westernised diet increases chances of colon cancer
When it comes to colon cancer in Nigeria, its incidence starts between ages of 40 and 50 years. That is the productive age group. Of course, the chance of a colon cancer is higher in this age group, being a group that is more likely to be affluent and take westernised diets and lifestyle.
Moreover, Dr Irabor, declared that the proliferation of fast food joints; increased intake of sugar, carbohydrate and red meat have all been shown to increase chances of developing colon cancer. But white meat and fish are safer.
It has been shown that countries like USA, UK and Argentina that consume a lot of meat have a high incidence of colon cancer. But consuming boiled meat is far safer than fried or roasted meat.
“Although fried meat tastes far better than boiled meat, but when you fry meat, the high temperature denatures the meat and gives rise to some chemicals which can cause cancer.
“Again when you roast meat over an open fire, some chemicals which can cause cancer are also produced; whether the roast is over an open fire, a griller or anything that shots the temperature higher and causes charring of meat,” he added.
In addition, colon cancer could run in some families as well as arises from exposure to environmental pollution.
Diet is the major cause of most colon cancer
Unlike traditional African foods that contain high fibre that is protective against colon cancer, westernised diets like hamburgers, ice creams, noodles and so on contribute to a change in the internal environment of the colon.
“It has been shown that our diet is protective. Do you know that pepper has anti-colon cancer properties because of its capciasin content? It has been shown that communities that eat pepper have a lower incidence of colon cancer,” said Dr Irabor.
Surviving colon cancer
But most popular strategy for colon cancer detection is the colonoscopy, which offers the most comprehensive look at the entire colon. If the doctor sees polyps during the test, he or she can recommend biopsy or remove them on the spot.
Detecting and removing polyps, a growth that may or may not develop into cancer, must logically lower incidence, and therefore death, from the disease.
Paradoxically, more Nigerians with colon polyps are being seen, something that was rare before now, and buttressing Nigerian’s changing diet.
But colonoscopy is not cheap either. “Colonoscopy costs about N44, 000, which is far above the minimum wage in Nigeria,” he said.
In addition, where colon cancer is detected, he said “surgery to remove the cancer is about N120, 000. So, on the average the cost of its treatment, including tests, cannot be less than N800, 000.”
Howbeit, if the cancer is detected early and treatment commenced promptly, 85 out of 100 of such people will live for more than five years; at stage two, it is getting to about 60 per cent. And stage 3, that is now about 30 per cent; and stage 4, may between five and 10 per cent.
Any chance of the cancer recurring after treatment
“There is a chance of its reoccurrence, and as such after treatment, such patients every year will be coming for colonoscopy to check their colon so that if anything is happening again, such can be quickly removed.”

Check this out: Nigerian celebrities whose wives are older than them with pics

Nigerian celebrities whose wives are older: It would however seem that the stigma is lifting, as more Nigerian women are openly dating and even marrying their young lovers, not caring what the world thinks; and why should they? We must accept love wherever it finds us, right? Well, these women certainly think so, banishing tradition and living out their dream love lives. And yes, you know them.

Oh well, today i would love us to take a peep into the private lives of our very own Nigerian celebrities with daring age gaps between them and their women. LOLA & PETER OKOYE Toping the list in no particular order is is Peter Okoye of P-Square musical duo and Lola Omotayo Lola is said to be 6 years older than Peter. Peter and his twin brother Paul were born on the 18th of November 1981. Although no one is saying anything concerning Lola’s precise date of birth, of course you know how it is with women and their age.
In an earlier interview years back, Lola addressed the age gap between them thus:

“Like I said, Peter is an old soul and he always tells me that I’m like a 23-year-old. Age is just a number. Right now, you can see it around the world. Demi Moore, Usher and some known people. Even in Nigeria here, they are dating people far older than their age. So, we shouldn’t base it on the age factor. He doesn’t make me feel like he’s younger than me.”

DEOLA AYENI & DARE ART-ALADE Next on the list is Dare Art-Alade and his wife Deola Ayeni. Deola is 8 years older than Darey yet they’ve been married for over 5 years with lovely kids.
Dare once responded thus in an interview about their age gap:
Do you not feel any pressure of any sort being married to somebody older than you are? No pressures at all! Every body at sometime finds what works for him or her. I am perfectly happy with my marriage to my wife and I absolutely have no problems or pressures of any sort.
Another couple who are proudly flying the flag for older woman/younger man relationship is celeb stylist/fashion designer Toyin Lawani who is 32 years old & engaged to her 22 year old boo Triggakess, Omo, a whole lot of 10 years difference!!!

The couple who proudly refer to themselves as Naija’s Rihanna & Chris Brown, they both welcomed their first baby couple of months ago although Toyin has an 8 year old daughter from a previous relationship. Theirs show that age is just a number and that what matters is love. In her recent interview, Toyin responded thus about their age difference: Congratulations on your second child. How are you combining motherhood and work? Thank you. It’s been very tedious. It’s not only about having a maid, sometimes you need to be present at things like P.T.A. meetings that need personal attention. But Trigga has been wonderful and understanding. He helps a lot. Do you feel bothered by the age difference between you and Trigga? Not really

ANNE NJEMANZE & SILVER OJIESON Segun Arinze’s ex wife, actress Ann Njemanze, who remarried last year disclosed in an interview that her husband is few years younger than her.
Hear her: Your husband seems so young and fresh, he’s younger than you are obviously? Ah, yes he is, with few years. My husband and I do not share up to 5 years difference and he is not bothered about it.
Has he ever been married before? No, he’s never been married, no way. This is his last marriage in Jesus name. He is the only son of his parents too from Edo State.

QUEEN URE OKEZIE & SOUL E
Before their separation, they were so much in love despite the fact that Queen Ure was 11 years older than Soul E. In one of their major interviews years ago when they were still very much in love, they both addressed their wide age gap thus:
Did you consider his age at that time? URE: No Did he tell you? URE: Well he added a few years to his age. What do you have to say about the reports that you are fond of dating older women? SOUL E:I don’t have anything to say about it, it is my life. I have always known that it would happen; I’m too big that’s why I attract people that are older than me. I told my parents when I was growing up that I don’t know- then, I had two serious relationships and all of them were older than me. I knew right from the scratch that I was going to end up with someone older than me. What of maturity factor? Some guys like to date older women because they are not mature, is your case like that? URE:Let me answer that, someone canbe so mature that the people that you relate with are the people that think like you. You don’t find those kinds of people even among your age mate. Soul E: All the friends, I had from secondary school days to my polytechnic school days allthe friends I had were all older than me. I’m talking about ages like 45, 50 and when I talk;they listen both male and female. When I talk they listen. I could remember in 1995, I called my mother and told her; I’ve a strong feeling that the person I’m going to end up with is going to be older than me.

After these lovely love stories, Would you marry someone older than you?

Breaking!!! How Miss Anambra paid N1.8million to her blackmailers and more mysteries revealed!

How Miss Anambra paid N1.8million to her blackmailers – A Facebook user, Victor Ibeh, has shared new details about Miss Chidinma Okeke, former Miss Anambra’s sex tape ordeal. According to him, the ex-beauty queen has now been granted asylum in an undisclosed country.
He also went further to claim that the videos which are in more than 10 parts (in which only two were released yet) was done for money long before she became a queen. Chidinma was not the only one being blackmailed for the lesbian sex video but she however became a big fish to the blackmailers when she won the beauty queen contest.

The ex-beauty queen has parted with a whooping N1.8m just so that videos won’t be released to the public but the blackmailers were bent on milking her dry. He went further to say that Chidinma was trying to do damage control when she said it was photoshopped and that she is not the one in the video. And that she was trying to insult the intelligence of everyone by saying that. ”Damage control is very important. Chidinma shouldn’t have started up with the photoshop rubbish. It would have been easier for us to understand that she under the influence of juvenile excesses. Telling us that it was photoshopped was like insulting our combined intelligence.” Mr Victor Ibeh went further to reveal how ladies and young guys do unbelievable things just to have money and be regarded as a big girl or big in the society.
 He posted:

”The love for money. The love for money. Bringing up our children with wrong values. What does a little girl below 20 want to do with millions.  Those videos were made for money. You heard me right.  That reminds of my uni days. What some of you don’t know is that majority of uni girls go for weekend prostitution for money. Some also engage in pornography for foreign sites, just to make money. Even that so called husband, boyfriend, wife and girlfriend, you have might have their nudes videos somewhere in another country. Do you also know that orgy-Naija captures the images of people who go for sexual orgy with them. ”A car and an iPhone is the reason we have her videos every where. The excessive desire to get wealth is why little girls are busy doing nasty things for money. The other time we heard about the lady who agreed to go to Dubai and eat poop just for money.  We are talking about a great future society. How can we achieve that when the young people of today have already lost sense of what values and morals are. Copyright, Victor Ibeh 2016”

Alert! You need to know this:10 ways to control high blood pressure without medication

Lifestyle plays an important role in treating your high blood pressure. If you successfully control your blood pressure with a healthy lifestyle, you might avoid, delay or reduce the need for medication.

Here are 10 lifestyle changes you can make to lower your blood pressure and keep it down hereby reduce your risk of heart disease.

1. Lose extra pounds and watch your waistline

Blood pressure often increases as weight increases. Being overweight also can cause disrupted breathing while you sleep (sleep apnea), which further raises your blood pressure.

Weight loss is one of the most effective lifestyle changes for controlling blood pressure. Losing just 10 pounds (4.5 kilograms) can help reduce your blood pressure.

Besides shedding pounds, you generally should also keep an eye on your waistline. Carrying too much weight around your waist can put you at greater risk of high blood pressure.

Men are at risk if their waist measurement is greater than 40 inches (102 centimeters).
Women are at risk if their waist measurement is greater than 35 inches (89 centimeters).

2. Exercise regularly

Regular physical activity — at least 30 minutes most days of the week — can lower your blood pressure by 4 to 9 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg). It's important to be consistent because if you stop exercising, your blood pressure can rise again.

If you have slightly high blood pressure (prehypertension), exercise can help you avoid developing full-blown hypertension. If you already have hypertension, regular physical activity can bring your blood pressure down to safer levels.

The best types of exercise for lowering blood pressure include walking, jogging, cycling, swimming or dancing. Strength training also can help reduce blood pressure. Talk to your doctor about developing an exercise program.

3. Eat a healthy diet

Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm Hg. This eating plan is known as the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet.

It isn't easy to change your eating habits, but with these tips, you can adopt a healthy diet:

- Keep a food diary. Monitor your eating habits, for just a week you can write down what you eat, how much, when and why.

- Consider boosting potassium.
9 Potassium rich foods to lower blood pressure

Potassium can lessen the effects of sodium on blood pressure. The best source of potassium is food, such as fruits and vegetables.

- Be a smart shopper. Read food labels when you shop and stick to your healthy-eating plan when you're dining out, too.

4. Reduce salt in your diet

To decrease salt in your diet, consider these tips:

- Read food labels. If possible, choose low-sodium alternatives of the foods and beverages you normally buy.
- Eat fewer processed foods. Only a small amount of sodium occurs naturally in foods. Most sodium is added during processing.
- Don't add salt. Just 1 level teaspoon of salt has 2,300 mg of sodium. Use herbs or spices to add flavor to your food.
- Ease into it. If you don't feel you can drastically reduce the sodium in your diet suddenly, cut back gradually. Your palate will adjust over time.

5. Limit the amount of alcohol you drink

Alcohol can be both good and bad for your health. In small amounts, it can potentially lower your blood pressure by 2 to 4 mm Hg.

But that protective effect is lost if you drink too much alcohol. Drinking more than moderate amounts of alcohol can actually raise blood pressure by several points. It can also reduce the effectiveness of blood pressure medications

6. Quit smoking

Each cigarette you smoke increases your blood pressure for many minutes after you finish. Quitting smoking helps your blood pressure return to normal. People who quit smoking, regardless of age, have substantial increases in life expectancy.

7. Cut back on caffeine

Although the effects of chronic caffeine ingestion on blood pressure aren't clear, the possibility of a slight increase in blood pressure exists.
To see if caffeine raises your blood pressure, check your pressure within 30 minutes of drinking a caffeinated beverage. If your blood pressure increases by 5 to 10 mm Hg, you may be sensitive to the blood pressure raising effects of caffeine. Talk to your doctor about the effects of caffeine on your blood pressure.

8. Reduce your stress

Chronic stress is an important contributor to high blood pressure. Occasional stress also can contribute to high blood pressure if you react to stress by eating unhealthy food, drinking alcohol or smoking.

Take some time to think about what causes you to feel stressed, such as work, family, finances or illness. Once you know what's causing your stress, consider how you can eliminate or reduce stress.
If you can't eliminate all of your stressors, you can at least cope with them in a healthier way. Try to:

Change your expectations. Give yourself time to get things done. Learn to say no and to live within manageable limits. Try to learn to accept things you can't change.
Think about problems under your control and make a plan to solve them. You could talk to your boss about difficulties at work or to family members about problems at home.
Know your stress triggers. Avoid whatever triggers you can. For example, spend less time with people who bother you or avoid driving in rush-hour traffic.
Make time to relax and to do activities you enjoy. Take 15 to 20 minutes a day to sit quietly and breathe deeply. Try to intentionally enjoy what you do rather than hurrying through your "relaxing activities" at a stressful pace.
Practice gratitude. Expressing gratitude to others can help reduce stressful thoughts.

9. Monitor your blood pressure at home and see your doctor regularly

Blood pressure monitors are available widely and without a prescription. Talk to your doctor about home monitoring and how to use the BP apparatus before you get started.

Regular visits with your doctor are also key to controlling your blood pressure. If your blood pressure is under control, you might need to see your doctor less frequently depending on other conditions you might have. If your blood pressure isn't well-controlled, your doctor will likely want to see you more frequently.

10. Get support

Supportive family and friends can help improve your health. They may encourage you to take care of yourself, drive you to the doctor's office or embark on an exercise program with you to keep your blood pressure low.

If you find you need support beyond your family and friends, consider joining a support group. This may put you in touch with people who can give you an emotional or morale boost and who can offer practical tips to cope with your condition.

See Photos: Jesus Christ’s Burial Place Has Been Opened For First Time In Centuries

The ‘burial slab’ of Jesus Christ has been uncovered for the first time in centuries, reports say.

The stone shelf, which has for years been encased by marble, is believed by many Christians to have held the body of Jesus after his crucifixion.

Fredrik Hiebert, archaeologist-in-residence at The National Geographic Society, said: “The marble covering of the tomb has been pulled back, and we were surprised by the amount of fill material beneath it”.

“It will be a long scientific analysis, but we will finally be able to see the original rock surface on which, according to tradition, the body of Christ was laid.”

The stone slab is located in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem which is visited by hundreds of thousands of pilgrims every year and its ownership and maintenance is shared in a complex arrangement between the Armenian, Greek Orthodox and Catholic Churches.

It is currently undergoing restoration work after being damaged by many years of exposure to humidity from the condensation from the breath of visitors, and thermal stress caused by candles burning for hours nearby.

The shrine at the heart of the complex called the Edicule, the supposed location of the tomb of Jesus, is being renovated at a cost of $3.4 million and the monument, which in its present form dates back to 1810, is being completely rebuilt. The restoration is expected to be finished in 2017.

The renovations will see the marble slabs taken off, the 12th century Crusader shrine beneath the Edicule repaired and the cracks in the tomb under that filled.

The noisy work is being undertaken at night to minimise the disruption to pilgrims.

Professor Antonia Moropoulou, the chief scientific supervisor of the project, told National Geographic that his team had reached “the critical moment for rehabilitating the Edicule”.

“The techniques we’re using to document this unique monument will enable the world to study our findings as if they themselves were in the tomb of Christ,” he added.

The Eastern Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilus III, said the “atmosphere was special”while waiting outside the Edicule as the burial shelf was exposed.

“Here we have Franciscans, Armenians, Greeks, Muslim guards, and Jewish police officers,” he added. “We hope and we pray that this will be a real message that the impossible can become the possible. We all need peace and mutual respect.“

How To Brighten Dark Areas On The Body

Areas of the body like the elbows, knuckles, knees and more get darker than other areas and come off funny where in fact they should match other areas (or very close to).
Lemons come as natural bleaching agent for dark areas on the body and they work well and fast, add sugar as a perfect natural exfoliating agent and the skin will glow as much as it feels smooth.
Lemon is rich in Vitamin C which ensures smooth and softer skin as well as improve skintone and gets rid of dead skin cells while making the skin visibly lighter and brighter.

How to use Lemon + Sugar to brighten dark skin area:
1. Cut lemon into halves
2.  Sprinkle granulated sugar (brown preferably) on half lemon
3. Wash affected areas of the body clean
4. Scrub the skin with the lemon half (with sugar sprinkles) over the areas in circular motions
5. Leave the 'mix' on for about 15 minutes
6. Rinse with water and apply moisturizer as usual
Note: Avoid exposure to sun when using lemon as a skin lightening agent.

Shocking revelation! DNA confirms Hakeem from ‘Empire’ is Jay Z’s biological son

DNA analysis has been released revealing that Bryshere Y. Gray also known as Yass the Greatest who plays Hakeem Lyon on the hit show Empire is actually the biological son of rap mogul Jay-Z. This doesn’t come as too much of a shock as the rapper’s dalliances are well accounted for, but it does ask the question of whether or not Bryshere will inherit “The Rock” from his estranged father.
Jay-Z proudly confirmed that he is in fact his father in an interview by saying:
“YEA THAT’S BLUE IVY’S BIG BROTHER CAN’T YOU TELL THAT’S MY GENES THAT GAVE HIM HIS SKILLS. I’M PROUD OF MY SON I MIGHT SIGN HIM TO ROC NATION IF IT MAKES SENSE”

Byshere’s mother “Donut” Shannon Bryshere was one of Jay-Z’s “ghetto flowers” back in the day when he was selling drugs to help support his musical career. The two distanced themselves from one another after Donut took the fall for a drug charge to keep Jay-Z from going to prison.
Little did Jigga know at this time that she was pregnant with his child. What does this epistle remind you of guys? Some people probably knows the secret long ago. Quite revealing Now.

Now, Bryshere is back in the picture as the rightful holder to take the throne from his father, but is he too young? Does Bryshere have what it takes to take over for his father or will his brash, youthful arrogance get in the way? While there’s so many questions, one thing is for sure: the answers won’t be boring or logical.
Now I wonder what Beyonce has to say about this after they’ve been married for 8 good years.
